During the balancing process, the VSR machine spins the turbine wheel, using compressed air, up to speeds reaching 210,000 revs/ min. Whilst spinning, the machine measures the tiny amount of imbalance created by the rotating components and calculates the procedure for correcting this imbalance.
After correcting the balance the vibration results will be lowered to below industry standard prescribed limits, typically not exceeding 1.0 g-pk or above.
If this balancing process is not carried out the result can be a turbo which will be noisy in operation and will suffer failure prematurely
The product warranty is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of receiving the order and covers against manufacturer's defect under normal use. In the rare case your turbocharger does not function properly due to a manufacturing quality issue, Speedup Autoparts will repair it or replace it free of charge, depending on the specific circumstances.
Please note: professional installation by a qualified workshop / mechanic is required.
We understand some customers do wish to fit the turbocharger themselves; however the warranty does not cover amateur or home installations, nor damage resulting from improper installation and modifications.
