LAGUNA PRESSURE-FLO 3000 UVC FILTER - 24 WATT UV LAMP

The Pressure-Flo 3000 UVC is a pressurized pond filter designed for ponds up to 3000 gallons in size. It incorporates a 24-watt UV-C lamp, 4 filter foams, and 3200 grams of Bio-Lava Rock to provide effective mechanical, UV sterilization, and biological filtration for maintaining a clear and healthy pond environment.

The filter has undergone improvements to enhance its functionality and ease of maintenance. The filter handles and diverter valve have been redesigned and strengthened for durability. The cleaning handles now have an ergonomically designed grip with reinforced brush connections, while the diverter valve has been reshaped and enlarged to accommodate an improved cleaning indicator system. This makes the patented Backwash Cleaning System easier to use. Additionally, the UV bulb maintenance has been simplified with permanently connected screws on the UVC-Head, eliminating the risk of misplacing or losing screws during maintenance.

The filtration capabilities of the Pressure-Flo 3000 have been enhanced as well. The mechanical filter pads, which intercept and trap dirt and debris, are now 10 times stronger than previous pad foams to maintain their rigid shape and performance. The UV sterilization functionality has been improved with larger and more powerful UV bulbs. Moreover, the conversion to Bio-Lava rock filter media enhances biological filtration by providing increased surface area for healthy bacteria growth, resulting in cleaner and healthier water.

To achieve optimal performance, the Pressure-Flo 3000 should be used in conjunction with a solids handling pump such as the Laguna Max-Flo 2000 Waterfall and filter pump. Water enters the unit through a water inlet, passes through the mechanical filtration stage with durable foam filters, and then proceeds through the integrated 24-watt UV-C lamp, where it is exposed to ultraviolet rays that inhibit the growth of algae. Finally, the thoroughly cleansed water returns to the pond. The filter's patented system allows for easy backwash cleaning without the need to open the lid, ensuring optimal performance for an extended period and reducing the frequency of full maintenance sessions. The cleaning indicator provides a visual signal when backwash cleaning is required.

The Pressure-Flo 3000 can be installed either in-ground or above-ground, providing flexibility in its placement. It is recommended for ponds with a low load of fish and is suitable for ponds up to 3000 gallons in size. The dimensions of the unit are 14.3" in diameter and 20.6" in height, with a canister height of 15.7" and a canister volume of 8.2 U.S. gallons. The unit comes with a 16-foot power cord and requires the Max-Flo 2000 PT8244 pump for optimal performance. The filter package includes 4 foam filters (PT1737), 3200 grams of Bio-Lava rock, 3 universal fast couplings (PT640), and 1 hosing connector (PT638).
