The first Aliens comic book came out from Dark Horse in 1987 and was an immediate hit. Now, together for the first time, here are the stories that started Dark Horse's involvement with one of moviedom's favorite nasties: Aliens Book One; Aliens Book Two; Aliens: Earth War; and Dark Horse Presents: Aliens.

Dark Horse collects these stories into a gorgeous limited edition of 500 copies. The slipcovered, Smythe-sewn deluxe book features a foil-stamped, bonded-leather binding with specially printed end papers. The book includes a special signature, featuring many of the collections' original covers, and a signature page sparkling with new Aliens art from some of the artists for the original comics, signed by many of the people who shaped Aliens at Dark Horse!

Stories/Spoilers:

Aliens Book One: Hicks breaks Newt out of the mental hospital where she is being held, and the two of them, along with a crack squad of battle-hardened Marines, blast-off for the Aliens' Homeworld. But is the Alien menace really as far away as Hicks believes, or is the threat closer to Earth than anyone imagines? As the ship carrying Hicks, Newt and the company of Colonial Marines nears the Aliens' Homeworld, a strange paranoia begins to grip the people of Earth. Thousands begin to suffer recurring nightmares about the Aliens, leading Dr. Orona to a terrible realization: there is already an alien--a queen--on Earth! All hell breaks loose as Hicks, Newt and the Marines arrive on the Aliens' Homeworld! While back on Earth, a misguided religious fanatic frees the Alien Queen captured by the Bionational Corp.! Even if Hicks and Newt survive their mission, will there be an Earth to come home to? Hicks, Newt and their crew of Marines are finding conditions on the Alien homeworld to be more than they bargained for as they discover that there are things even the Aliens are afraid of! Meanwhile, a mad, fanatical preacher has loosed the corporation's captive Queen on an unsuspecting Earth--to force mankind into an unholy "Communion"! This is it! The dramatic conclusion to the hottest miniseries of the year! Their mission to the Aliens' Homeworld a costly failure, Hicks, Newt, and what's left of their Marine contingent return to Earth--only to find conditions horribly changed and mankind on the run from ravaging Alien hordes!

Aliens Book Two: Following the events of the movie Aliens, Corporal Hicks, Lt. Ripley and the girl called Newt hoped that the demons known as Aliens had finally been destroyed. Unfortunately, human greed shattered those hopes. The Company had never ceased its attempts to capture an Alien for study in their weapons labs, and eventually, it succeeded in bringing one back to Earth. It was not too long afterward that Earth was overrun by these unstoppable monsters. The world goes mad for Hicks and Newt. In their desperate attempt to escape an Earth overrun with Aliens, their ship lands at a top secret Marine Base where a crazed General is attempting to train Aliens for use in battle! The crazed military commander named Spears has been doing the unthinkable. He has been trying to train the Aliens to fight their own kind. To accomplish this, he has locked civilian terraformers in glass tubes, and literally fed them to the Aliens in a bizarre conditioning process. Just as terrifying, the Aliens seem to be learning… Reluctantly... out of necessity, Newt and Hicks join with the survivors of General Spear's army of Marines in a desperate attempt to reclaim the Earth from the Aliens, but it is an effort that seems to be doomed from the start! However, help comes from an unexpected quarter!

Aliens - Earth War: The Aliens still dominate the Earth, but Hicks and Newt are determined to free the planet- no matter the cost! Now, they are not alone in their struggle. An old friend and comrade comes out of hiding to aid them in their struggle, but will that be enough to win the day? Newt joins Ripley's crew as they set off from Gateway station. Their mission: to trap the Alien Queen Mother... and brings her back to Earth! Meanwhile, on Earth, humans are still being terrorized by the Alien infestation-and worse, it looks like the planet is somehow starting to change, to reform, but into what? Ripley and her crew travel to the Aliens' home planet in an effort to capture the Alien Queen mother. Her highness has other plans, however, as she sends her "babies" to take out Ripley's team, leaving the two species' feistiest females to battle it out one-on-one! Meanwhile, the armored personnel carrier, which has transported the crew to the Alien hive, is headed for a nuclear meltdown -- leaving our team stranded on the planet with no way to return to their ship! All the stops are out! Ripley and her crew transport the Alien Queen Mother to Earth and prepare themselves for the final showdown. While Ripley is rigging bombs for a major meltdown of both the planet and its alien infestation, Newt is stealing away to try to save the life of a lone little girl. With the clock ticking down, Newt is lost inside a mountain teeming with the alien horde- and Ripley finds herself exactly where she wants to be: face-to-face with her highness!
