This is the second volume of Henry Wilder Foote's "Annals of King's Chapel, from the Puritan Age of New England to the Present Day," a 690 page, 6"x9.5" hardcover published in 1896 in Boston by Little, Brown, and Company. The first volume appeared in 1881. It's a history of the Boston-based Unitarian Universalist congregation founded in 1686. There are sporadic black and white illustrations throughout.

The book is in good condition, with no dust jacket. The original brown cloth boards have small tears at the spine top, edge wear, scuffs and rubbing, a bumped back bottom corner. There are smudges and pencil marks on the 2nd and 3rd pages, another pencil mark and an inscription (in ink) on the half-title page. The interior is age-toned. The binding is tight.
