The N-3B jacket, a longer version of the N-2B, was developed for crew personnel subjected to extreme cold arctic climates. It is mainly issued to aircrews assigned to troop transports, helicopters or strategic bombers.
This warm and comfortable N-3B jacket is made of durable 210D nylon twill. It goes with a high closing zip front with additional button closure, and features two front cargo pockets, two hand warmer pockets, all with press stud fastening, one pocket on the left sleeve, a reinforced elbows, waist drawstring and a large adjustable snorkel hood with fleece lining and faux fur trim.

The best way of checking if an item will fit is to measure a similar garment you have which fits well and compare the measurements.
When we give the "Armpit to armpit x 2" on an item it is measured directly at the top of the side seams (armpit to armpit) laid flat, then the measurement is doubled, giving the circumference.
If we state that an item is labelled "to fit xx" / XXcm" please check this against your own measurements.
