This item is a three foot long, DB25 Male to DB25 Female cable.  As you can see from the photos below, one connector is male and the other is female.  Here is the important thing to know about this cable: Unlike many of the other similar-looking cables being sold on Ebay, this one has all 25 wires inside, and they connect straight through (from pin 1 to pin 1, pin 2 to pin 2 .... pin 25 to pin 25).

This item is new.  It came from the
manufacturer in a sealed bag,
 but not in a retail package.
