From an estate sale of an Asian art collector, a flowers and a bird shadow box.

This piece is truly amazing. The entire piece is made of cut and sculpted bird feathers. Even the beak, branches (the branches are especially amazing), flower petals and leaves.

It is hand signed by the artist and has a red stamp.

There are a few nicks to the dark cherry colored lacquer frame. White background has yellowish stains (one would wonder how it got there). Blue colored wood have some stain as well and minor hairline cracks.I have included photos for better description. However, no major broken pieces of the collage itself.

shadow box and the piece measures 9 3/4" x 7" x 1".

There is a gold-colored wall hanging hardware. Back of the box has numbers 116-172 (not sure what's that represent).

Overall condition could be "good to very good", considering its age.

As with any antique and vintage pieces, I try to describe it to the best of my knowledge. However, I'm not an expert. So, you be the judge. Ask questions, see pictures.

See my other listings as I have more shadow boxes from the same estate sale.
