Nikon labophot-Pol microscope with 6 volt 20 watt halogen illumination. The microscope came from a university petrology research department and has seen very, very little use, cosmetically, mechanically, and optically it scores a 9.9 out of 10! Options included are:

Included but not pictured is a spare 6 volt 20 watt lamp. The microscope has gone through our service shop, cleaned,  lubricated and aligned,new rubber eyepiece cups were installed. If you purchase the microscope you can expect to unpack it, set it on the counter, plug it in, and begin work! It is truly a find and would cost over $12,000 to purchase the same quality today from Nikon. The pictures are of a thin section meteorite and were taken through the eyetube with a simple consumer grade camera.  (A Nikon Dispersion Staining 10X objective is available for an additional $400.00)

I will allow a 14-day return for defects not mentioned in the description. We usually ship within two business days of receipt of payment. Our preferred partners for domestic shipping are UPS and USPS.   Email confirmation of the shipping date and tracking numbers (if applicable) will be provided.
