Unlike most of the "Made in China" belts, these were made from the single layer natural leather. They fit well many 1 ¾ -2 inch loop pants, shorts or jeans. Belts' width is 1.7 inches (4.2 cm), thickness 0.15-0.2 inches (3-4 mm). These belts are longer than civilian belts because of the quick fasten bolt, come with one optional shoulder strap (to buy it, please look under the # of D clips menu) of the same color as the belt, optional 0-4 D clips (or more, upon request), and an ornamental thread supported by a very thin leather underliner which is first glued and then permanently stitched to the belt. During wear the friction generated by this underliner prevents the belt from sliding sideways, a feature that the imitation military belts don't have. The clips can be used to support a shoulder strap or to carry things on the belt, like a cell phone, camera, keys, etc.
These belts will not separate because they were made from the highest quality single layer full grain bullhide leather and not man made leather.
Unlike all the soft, stitched and/or glued together belts, these bullhide belts are the longest lasting belts ever made or possible, that's why you may never have to buy another, and why we recommend it to all who want only the best (actually you can see and feel the difference). These highest quality belts should outlast, by many years, any soft or composite (stitched and/or glued together) man-made belts.
This belt has a special military silver buckle. Buckle is a chrome plated metal alloy.
