If your setup won't come to focus with this focal reducer, please

don't return the reducer before contacting us to assist with 

diagnosing the application.  If the spacing between the FR and 

the image plane is not within range, it won't work well.

Designed for f10 SCT's, this focal reducer yields a f6.3 system.
Mounts on the SCT Schmidt threads on the rear cell of SCT's.
Fully multicoated optics, anodized aluminum cell, rubber grip
ring. Male and female SCT Schmidt threads.

This is a focal reducer designed for use with Schmidt Cassegrain 

telescopes, it has SCT 2"-24 threads for that reason.  It works well

with large SCTs down to the popular 5 and 6 inch size SCTs.

While this may work as desired with other optical systems, it also 

may not yield desired results.  While it will provide f-ratio reduction 

and field size change, and change to the field curvature, it is a SCT 

focal reducer.

There is no "universal" focal reducer!  Please order this only if you 

have knowledge of how it should be used and the thread adapters 

that may be needed.
