Each pair of shorts is a genuine vintage pair of Fred Perry shorts. We never alter the waistline or cut of a pair of shorts, and never rework larger waist sizes into smaller sizes.

All pairs of shorts have the following features:

• Mid to high waisted cut - see sizing advice below
• Short-shorts / above the knee style
  
• Flat front, sometimes with a slight pleat on the front of each leg
  
• Logo in good shape where present on the garment, usually on the front of the left leg, though some pairs of Fred Perry shorts were produced without a logo on the outside
  
• Zip fly
• Buttoned cinch tabs at sides of the waistband
  
• 3 inch inside leg seam on average
• Polycotton / polyester and cotton mix or 100% polyester fabric
  
• Laundered and ready to be worn

Please note: The garments shown are examples only. As they are all vintage garments, produced in a range of factories, in a range of countries, over a number of years, they will vary in colour shade, logo colour, and weight and composition of fabric. Some shorts will have branded buttons, whilst others will have plain, unbranded ones.

Condition details
Grade A:
The majority of these shorts have been pre-worn and washed. On some occasions, the pair you receive may be a vintage, unworn and unwashed pair with the original retail tag intact. There may be light/faint marks in places. Marking is more likely on lighter coloured pairs. Occasionally, an original button may have been replaced. The side tab/cinch buttons may have been moved from their original positions.
Grade B:
These shorts have been pre-worn and washed. There is a greater chance of marking in places, which will be heavier and more noticeable than on grade A shorts, and may include grass stains, yellowing and rust spots. There may be snags and/or small holes. Marking is more likely on lighter coloured pairs. Occasionally, an original button may have been replaced. The side tab/cinch buttons may have been moved from their original positions. The logo may be worn. The inside labels may be worn or missing..

Sizing advice and guides
These shorts are all mid to high waisted, and the waistband sits closer to the waist than the hips. To help you to find the right size, we recommend that you measure yourself around the waist, just below the bellybutton, using a measuring tape. For comfort, we recommend that you size up from this measurement - for example, if your measured waist size is 28", we advise that you order shorts with a 30" waist size label, as the cut of these vintage shorts is rather close fitting.

Delivery
Our courier shipping service is restricted to the U.K. mainland only, and is not available to the Highlands and all Islands, for which a First Class Recorded service will be used instead.

Despatch times
Items purchased before 17:00 (GMT) Monday to Thursday will be shipped on the following day. Items purchased between 17:00 (GMT) on Friday and 23.59 (GMT) on Sunday will be shipped on Monday. We despatch items within 1 working day of purchase - an item purchased on Monday will usually be despatched on Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday, with our U.K. courier shipping service (restrictions apply, see above). Items not shipped using our courier service will have the same despatch times, though delivery times will vary.
