Heavy
duty, galvanized, pressed steel. Industrial quality. Used in sets of
two (single gate) or four (double gate) to accommodate a swing gate, allowing 90 degrees of travel in each direction (90 degrees inward and 90 degrees outward for a full 180 degree arc). This listing is for one gate hinge.
The gate collar can be inverted to accept round tube gate frames of both 1-5/8"
OD and 1-7/8" OD diameters.
Carefully measure the outside diameter
of
your gate hinge post (that cemented into the ground, generally 2-3/8" OD,
2-7/8"
OD, 4" OD, or 6-5/8" OD), then select the correct diameter
from the drop
down menu.
Contact us if you require specialty sizes not listed (we are capable of pressing hinges to fit odd-sized posts, including 4-1/2"OD, 5-9/16"OD, 8-5/8"OD, even 10-5/8"OD; we build hinges that fit 2-3/8"OD gate frames as well!), hinges for posts that are not round, or if you require hinges that swing more 90 degrees in each direction.
