ADVANTAGES OF SOLID PLATE


Solid plate is more conductive (i.e. more chlorine at lower salt levels)

They last longer (as they have up to 3 times more material than mesh)

They stay clean longer

They are much easier to clean (takes about 1/10th of the time compared to mesh)

There is no problem with using them in place of a mesh cell.

 

The cell will be replaced in the first 2 years if any manufacture defects are visible. 

There will then be a further 3 year pro-rata warranty based on the recommended retail price at that time.

Compu New Style Design

 

·      Originally designed in the 1980’s this cell was designed to fit into normal PVC and pipe, which used a locking ring to seal it.

·      Modern plastics and design have allowed improvements to the cell design for better material life and efficiency

 

Improvement Advantages

 

·      Original long plate design was required to fit the cell plate into the area in the diameter of the PVC pipe. With modern plastics they can now fit 5 plates using a polypropylene clip.

·      Old style long plate design hampered current travel and outer plates did not work.

·      Longer plates in non-reversing cells are more prone to warping, bowing and bending.

·      New cell style has improved efficiency with the shorter & extra plate material.

·      The older style spacer sets were prone to breaking due to the cell flexing, the new shorter multi-plate design & improved clips solved this.

·      Resin filled cell head ensures protection from external moisture and leaking

·      Complete with Lead and rubber seal (o’ring) the new design is far superior to the old
