Beautiful Etruscan Ware Vase c.1847-1860

This piece is straight from my personal collection, and fresh to the market.  Etruscan style vases were first made in 1847 on Thomas Webb opal or opaque glass blanks decorated at the works of a Mr Giller.  Etruscan glass featured Greek, Roman and Egyptian classical decors. At the Great Exhibition Etruscan glass was exhibited and became immensely popular, it was made by many English glass houses.   This glass was also made at the Harrach Glassworks in Bohemia during the same time frame, and it was so popular it's production continued until the 1860's.  See the wonderful book "British Glass 1800-1947" by Charles Hajdamach, pages 135 - 141 for further details on Etruscan glass.  Also the excellent book "From Neuwelt to the Whole World: 300 Years of Harrach Glass", pages 178 - 188 for additional details on Harrach's production of similar glasswares.

In excellent antique condition, no chips, cracks or other issues.

I've included lots of photos to represent the piece, please take a look and please message me if you have any questions.
