Vehicle Specific Electrics, also known as Dedicated Electrics and Plug and Play Electrics, are the best towing electrics available. Each kit is tailor made for the vehicle, to fit and function seamlessly. Each kit comes with full step by step instructions. The difficulty of fitting varies between vehicles, Plug and Play Electrics can be a misleading phrase, as some kits can require significant time and skill to install.
If your vehicle is under warranty a Dedicated Electrics kit is the best option. A standard universal electrics kit can invalidate the warranty on a new vehicle, as they require cutting and splicing into the vehicle wiring. Using a Dedicated Electrics kit specifically for your vehicle will not affect any vehicle warranty / guarantee.
We supply all our Twin and 13 pin Dedicated Electrics kits with a charging line kit, to provide a power supply to a caravan fridge / battery.

FAQS
Vehicle Year Range? Please make sure when ordering the year of your vehicle is correct for the year range of the kit. If unsure, please contact us for advice.
Sockets? 7 pin is common for trailers, Twin is most often for older caravans, and 13 pin for newer caravans. Adapters are also available if there is a kit for your vehicle but you need a different socket.
Charging Line: A charging line provides a power supply to the caravan for a fridge or battery. Be aware many sellers do not supply this as standard.
Coding? Some vehicles need a computer update / coding to function. Check with your fitter or garage if they offer coding.
Fog Cut Off?: The glare/reflection of the vehicle fog lights against a caravan can be very distracting. So some kits can automatically disable them.
PDC Cut Off? Parking Distance Control or Parking Sensors. There are several ways kits can interact with parking sensors:
Automatic: Sensors are disabled when towing automatically.
Coding: Coding is needed for the kit to disable the sensors.
Factory Fit: The vehicles disables sensors as standard.
Universal 2 Wire: The kit includes a universal setup to disable the sensors.
Dash Button: The sensors are disabled by a button on the dash.
Dealer Coding: Coding from the vehicle dealership is required.
Trailer LED? LED trailer lights are relatively new in towing terms, and not all kits can support them. Some need a upgrade kit to function with LEDs. Please contact us for details.
TSP/TSA? Trailer Stability Program / Assist is a feature on many vehicles with towing in mind. Settings on the vehicle adapt to optimise the vehicle for towing.
UK Delivery
We send all our items by courier, requiring a signature on delivery. Deliveries are made Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).
Exclusions:
We do not ship to Jersey (JE), Guernsey (GY), British Forces Post Office (BFPO) or Military addresses.
Extended Areas:
Some areas incur £30.00 extra postage costs in addition to what is shown on the Postage and payments tab (this is due to technical limitations). When you have placed your order if a extra postage charge applies to your delivery address we will contact you.
