This Antique Door Knocker features a Horse and Whip. The horse is either mid stride or on its hind legs. I'm not quite sure what the outer ring is supposed to be but my guess would be a whip of some sort. This is an interesting door knocker that I haven't seen before. Its aesthetic seems to have been influenced by the Art Deco movement. It may have been hand carved, too, out of brass. The door knocker is not new. It is a salvaged item and has some wear from from age and use. Overall condition is excellent. Go ahead... buy it, install it & make your neighbors jealous!
