This sale is for 2 pounds of Ceramic Tumbling Media that is used in a rock tumbler or vibratory polisher to provide a cushioning and filler for the polishing stages. They are approximately 1 to 1-1/4"" in length, and 3/4"- 7/8 in size. They are grey rhombus triangular shaped and have about 30 degree angle cut on both sides.

They can be used to act as a filler in stages 1 and 2 if there is not enough stones to bring the barrel up to 3/4 full. With the angled cut of the media, it will allow better contact with the stones to help speed up the polishing time. In the 3rd and 4th stages, the media will act as a buffer to help keep the stones from making contact with each other. This media can be rinsed off and used in any stage of the polishing cycle, they will not hold grit like plastic pellets do.
