Due to the overwhelming positive responce from buyers post-sale for additional items, custom cutting, information, etc., I decided to give more information regarding the ebony I am selling.First, I am a hobbyist woodworker who uses the ebony I sell, so I stand behind what I sell. If you are not happy in any way, just contact me and I will refund your money. I try to disclose even the slightest defect because I believe there should be no surprises when you receive it. The pieces are coated in Anchorseal, which is a very thin wax , so you can see the real color, and/or any variations in color usually hard to see through the thicker waxes.Thank you for taking the time to look and if this item doesn't fit your needs, contact me and I may have something that does.

Shipping: In regards to shipping, I only charge what the USPS charges me to ship it. I don't charge for packaging, and depending on buyer location I will upgrade to Priority Mail(3 day)at my expense if the difference is not too much.I have found that the USPS offers reliable service at a low price, and since shipping is an expense to both of us, why not make it as cheap as possible.If you prefer another carrier, or would prefer priority 3 day shipping please let me know prior to shipping.

He has gone to great lengths to accurately describe the color and size. Unlike a lot of ebony I've had the misfortune to purchase, his is extremely dry and has not checked or cracked.He packs the items very well, charges a fair price to ship, and does it quickly.
