 Body Hammers are drop forged from high carbon steel, heat treated, quenched and have tempered heads. They have a burnt lacquer finish, Grade B (or better), and cushion grip fiberglass handles. The hammer was one of the basic hand tools around which the body and fender repair trade was developed. The general purpose pick hammer has a medium size point and reach for general work. The low crown strawberry point provides perfect balance. Face, 1 9/16” round point, 3/32” radius. Length of pick end, 3 ¾”.
