Vintage Original 1985-86 Fender D'aquisto "Elite" Archtop guitar

This is in IMMACULATE condition - if it were not for some minor finish checking this would be hands down MINT.  No fretwear to speak of, plays perfectly, sounds like a dream.

Those that know these guitars know what amazing instruments they are.
This was Jimmy D'aquisto's gift to the working jazz guitarist
Late in his life, he partnered with the Fender "Master" division to create these beauties

Based off the ES-175 and the D'aquisto Jim Hall played.
This guitar is a joy to play with an amazing neck profile and a comfy 16" body.

These have become legendary jazz boxes...long out of production and made to exacting standards
This particular example has a very loud, open acoustic voice which translates perfectly through the balanced original pickup.  Full of clarity, perfect for chord melody playing or bebop runs alike.

Original case in very fine shape.
Original trussrod tool and case key included as pictured.
Strung with a fresh set of d'addario .13ga flatwounds

The sunburst finish on this is a absolutely lovely violin style teaburst finish
Spruce top with a very vibrantly flamed maple back.
Top quality woods were used on this one!
