We’ve been selling these German made Solo brand Ground Cultivators for a few years, and while initially we didn’t think they’d fit any other trimmer brand but Solo, every few months we receive an e-mail from a DIY buyer who was able to make these compatible with some slight modifications to properly function with other split shaft trimmer manufactures.

Please take a moment to look at the measurements and additional photos we posted to determine if you’re capable of making the modifications required to make this fit your trimmer, because once you initiate the modification process this no longer qualifies for a refund.

NOTE: We do not know if this will fit your trimmer, you’ll need to make that determination based on the specifications we’ve provided and the specifications of your actual trimmer, and of course your level of skill. If you’re like me an all thumbs, then this isn’t the project for you.

Incidentally, this is one of the finest trimmer attachments on the market, which has a normal retail price near $300 ( Google Solo Ground Cultivator 69 00 150 MSC Industrial Supply) The price we’re selling them isn’t a reflection of the standard selling price, but rather a reflection of how many 1,000’s we actually have on hand…. “It’s time to make some space” says the boss!

Update: We’ve been told that this will fit the Troybuilt WITH modifications, that you’ll need to cut some  key stock to make the 2 pieces mate, additionally we’ve been told that a trimmer with only 26cc’s may not have the HP to run this attachment, unless it’s a 2-stroke like the Solo 107 which is indeed a 26CC 2 stroke.
