The Grumpy Old Miners are the Makers of The Iron Fairies.  These little old men have been living in a world of darkness for hundreds of years mining a precious red ore in remote Western Australia.  Creating and making all sorts of weird machinery, inventions, and of course, The Iron Fairies themselves.
