Does this felt hold its own shape? Yes, but it still has some movement. It is often used for making felt crowns, and animal themed face masks so the thickness is great for this. It also makes fantastic ornaments and toys that won't 'flop'.

Is this felt soft? I wouldn't describe it as 'soft', it's 100% polyester and has a firm texture. It's soft enough not to be scratchy against the skin, but not a lovely soft to touch material (if that makes sense). 

Does this felt crease? It's thick enough to hold its own shape so it doesn't tend to crease unless its folded tightly. It does iron really well though, so if you are worried about it creasing slightly in the wash or the post then you can pop a tea towel over it and iron it on a normal setting.
