Rapid Turbos is a UK based turbocharger specialist.   All our products are assembled in our workshop in the UK and we use new components when assembling our turbochargers/core assemblies/all other turbo parts.  We pride ourselves on giving you a professional and courteous Customer Services and offer Technical advice.  All components are sold on an outright purchase.

Details

All core assemblies are built by us within our Workshop in the UK.  We use new components: e.g., shaft, compressor wheel (bearing housing is reconditioned) which are of a high quality and each core assembly is balanced on the VSR machine (vibration sorting rig) and quality checked prior to despatch.  You will also receive a 12 Month Warranty.

Turbocharger Failures

Turbos fail for a reason, usually air or oil related. Here are the main causes of turbocharger failure:

• Lack of lubricating oil or oil delay;
• Foreign material or dirt in the lubricating system;
• Oil break-down;
• Foreign material in exhaust or air-filtration systems;
• Internal carbon build up from the engine;

If the cause of turbo failure is not correctly diagnosed and rectified before fitting a replacement turbocharger it is likely the new turbo will suffer damage and fail for the same reason.  

PLEASE CHECK THE PART NUMBER PRIOR TO PURCHASE, THIS CAN BE FOUND ON THE ALLOY COMPRESSOR COVER OF THE TURBOCHARGER.

Postage & Packaging

Delivery to UK address:- £10.00   (Northern Ireland and any other off-shore location will incur additional charges, please contact us for details).

Despatch time:- We will dispatch on receipt of cleared payment of the goods and you will receive the goods within 24 hours (majority of UK).  Delivery times may vary, especially during peak periods.

Returns Policy

Written confirmation of the return and reason must be made to the supplier within 7 working days after the date of delivery.  A handling fee of £30.00 will apply to any goods that are no longer required in addition to this the £10.00 delivery fee is non-refundable.  The goods must be returned in an unused and merchantable condition.  Postage costs for the return of the goods are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Warranty Policy

All purchases come with a 12 month warranty.  Warranty claims on both a full turbocharger or core assembly/turbo components are subject to a handling and inspection charge of £30, plus any postage costs must be met by the purchaser which is payable via Pay Pal prior to any warranty claim being processed.   Should a warranty be verified as a valid claim, this charge is refundable.   Any costs to carry out repairs which are not covered by the warranty are again payable via Pay Pal prior to any work being carried out.
