Pair of Large Vintage French Empire Bronze Sconces,

Napoleon, Quiver, Eagle, Lion and Swan

These beautiful and large French bronze sconces are designed in the shape of quivers with the tops ("fletching") of the arrows showing above. Each quiver has bas-relief patterns alternating with bands of stylized acanthus leaves and two swans serve as arms for holding the bobeches. Prominently displayed on the front of each is a coat of arms with the initial “N” -  for the Emperor Napoleon - flanked by lions' heads and surmounted by an eagle, symbols of the emperor. A small stylized flower between the two swans completes the decorative composition of this handsome and impressive pair of sconces. They will make a very sophisticated and prestigious addition to any decor!

Items in the US are sent via USPS.

Items in Paris, France, are sent by registered mail via the French Post Office or by “Colissimo” for items weighing more than 4 ½ pounds (2 kg).

No questions asked return policy. Items must be returned in 14 business days. Item must be returned undamaged, in its original condition and packed, shipped, and insured in the same manner. Buyer pays return shipping and a 10% restocking fee.
