The term "Plein Air" is a French expression for "Open Air" often used to describe the practice of painting outdoors.  Which makes this style of frame extremely versatile and works well with all landscapes paintings or prints, watercolors or photos. The frame is 3 1/2" wide and a 1/2' rabbet. This traditional hand applied gold leaf finished frame is from our "Elite Series",   The frame includes a D Ring hanger wire and wall hook.
