Lotus Esprit & Excel HTD (round tooth) profile cam belt to suit the HC engines manufactured from 1985 - 1999.  This is really the ultimate timing belt for a Lotus, made by Gates Racing it is constructed of highly durable HBNR rubber with aramid fibre reinforcement, the teeth are also nylon reinforced for double the strength.  Whether you are looking for peace of mind for an expensive race engine or increased belt change intervals on a road car, these are arguably the most durable belts on the market: claimed to be 3x as strong as typical aftermarket timing belts.  

The HTD belts also make a great reliability upgrade for the earlier cars like the S1, S2, S3 Esprit and Talbot Sunbeam Lotus, but the pulleys need to be changed to match the belt profile.
