Blank Muzzle Brake For DIY / Gunsmith

You will be buying a blank muzzle brake with a through hole of .390" (for a  9mm) and threaded to 1/2x36 (most common for 9mm rifles).  Each brake is  precision CNC machined from 416 stainless steel to exact tolerances. The .390"  through hole allows for a .034" larger diameter than a standard 9mm bullet.   The area that threads onto your barrel is recessed .675" and the threads are  .600 deep with a slight recess at the start of threads to allow for easy  installation.  The threads are CNC cut and each blank muzzle brake is  checked against a precision go / no go thread gauge to insure the utmost  accuracy in the threading.  The larger outside diameter is .9375" (15/16), the  tapered smaller diameter is .750" (3/4) to match most barrel diameters, and the overall  length is 2" (two inches).  This blank muzzle brake can be easily  modified and drilled / machined to your preference. 

This is a great blank brake for the DIY (do it yourself)  or gunsmith.  We've taken all the hard steps of accurate center drilling,  recessing and threading out of the equation. All you need to do is drill or  machine this brake for a great custom look.  Have a custom muzzle brake  that no one else has!

This blank muzzle brake comes 'in the white' and is unfinished right out of the CNC machine.  With some light sanding you can  achieve a beautiful satin finish and with a few more minutes sanding and light machine  polishing you can achieve a mirror finish (416 polishes beautifully).  The  brake can also be finished in various ways, painted, parkerized, black oxide,  Duracoat, Cerakote, etc. etc. etc.

The 416 stainless steel is one of the most machinable  types of stainless steel available, 416 contains sulfur for fast machining  without clogging cutting tools. It's used for gears, screws, and shafts. This  material maintains its corrosion resistance in temperatures up to 1200° F.   Most rifle barrels are also made from 416 stainless steel.

You will be purchasing a quantity of 1 (one) blank muzzle  brake.  This muzzle brake will NOT thread on 5.56/.223 style rifles as they  are threaded different (1/2x28).  We do have the 1/2x28 threaded blank  muzzle brakes available, please check our other items for sale.  .

This is a blank muzzle brake and in it's current  unfinished condition offers no muzzle gas redirection.  It will however  still easily thread onto your barrel and look great!
