ANTIQUE LATE 19th CENTURY GERMAN HANAU SOLID CAST SILVER TEA STRAINER c.1890

Of circular form, the strainer pierced with a design of gallant and lady in 18th century dress in courtship either side railings. The rim and handle with a design of rocococ style c scroll framed reserves with trailing foliage.

Pseudo 18th century French hall marks. Marked with a Feur de lis  and a bust of a classical man wearing helmet facing left to handle
