This listing is for a very rare, out-of-print, non-Target, blue swirl Vertigo CD of Yello's early 1980s album
Claro Que Si (catalog number is 818 340-2). Blue swirl Vertigo CDs are some of the earliest manufactured CDs, and they are highly coveted by collectors. This CD was made in West Germany by Polygram on the Vertigo label. Audiophiles often consider early pressing CDs to be the best sounding.
I tested this CD using the Exact Audio Copy (EAC)
program and no errors were found. Here is a description of the condition
and contents:
- The CD grades as Very Good/Excellent. The playing surface has several light marks/scratches, which are mostly near the outer edge, and hub wear. The label side is mostly clean with a few tiny paint scrapes and marks on the outer edge.
- The
booklet grades as Excellent. The booklet has a very nice appearance with the exception of a bend at the upper edge and a tiny ink smudge on the back cover.
- The matrix number is 818 340-2 01.
- The jewel case is ridged. It has light to moderate wear. I am unsure if this is the original case.
This
listing represents an excellent opportunity to get a rare, great sounding CD that is in high demand. These blue swirls rarely come up for sale, so do not miss the chance to get one now!
