LONDON'S BURNING #1a ~ 1976 Punk Fanzine

Very Rare Original & iconic December 1976 Fanzine hommage to The Clash in superb condition. "The fanzine by a Clash fan for Clash fans"....Conceived, partly photographed, put together, and generally masterminded by Jonh Ingham."
14 pp A4 printed one side only and the only issue produced.

Jonh Ingham was there before the whole Punk scene exploded and, indeed, wrote the very first article on The Sex Pistols for the April 24th 1976 issue of Sounds. Jonh then co-managed Generation X and also wrote for all the major music publictions of the day.
This stylish and witty collection of collages was largely compiled while he was recuperating in hospital from a collapsed lung not long after the Pistols played Notre Dame (no connection) and "...done because it beats sharpening pencils"
