Details of the Quark QK-A024 Dual Channel Marine AIS Receiver with WiFi & NMEA
Introduction
QK-A024 is a compact dual channel, VHF AIS receiver and is able to receive information from both AIS frequencies simultaneously. It can also combine one external NMEA0813 (9.6kbps) data source with GPS and AIS messages. This single data stream is then transmitted synchronously via WiFi, USB and RS422.
The marine Automatic Identification System (AIS) is a location and vessel information reporting system. It allows vessels equipped with AIS to automatically, and dynamically share and regularly update their position, speed, course and other information such as vessel identity with similarly equipped vessels. Position is derived from the Global Positioning System (GPS) and communication between vessels is by Very High Frequency (VHF) digital transmissions. There are a number of types of AIS device, like Class A transceivers, Class B transceivers, AIS base stations, Aids to Navigation (AtoN) and AIS receivers.

Details of the Banten AISSBSPL3 Active AIS Receive Antenna Splitter/Diplexer for boats with VHF and AIS
This Antenna Splitter enables your existing boat VHF antenna to be used for receiving AIS data.
Installation is quick and simple with interconnecting cables supplied to link the AIS Receiver and the boat VHF. Reception on the AIS Receiver and the VHF Radio is now possible simultaneously. AIS reception will be blocked when you are transmitting on the VHF Radio.

Our standard (free) delivery will normally arrive the day after it is sent to most parts of mainland Britain. We regret this may take a little longer (and subject to additional cost) to the Islands plus Central and Northern Scotland.
We now use "APC Overnight" for most deliveries; due to a problem with the eBay computer system, it is not always possible to offer "one-click" Tracking.
You will normally receive an email giving you a 2-hour delivery slot.
Small/light packages are sent by First Class Parcel Post and will often arrive the day after they are sent.
If you really want your order to arrive within 1 or 2 days, we strongly advise you to use the "Express Delivery" option but note this does NOT guarantee Saturday delivery (i.e. Monday to Friday only).
"Express Delivery" parcels are either sent by "Royal Mail Special Delivery" or "APC Overnight Before 12.00"
