Introduction:
Six OBD cable adapters plus an ELM OBD2 USB Diagnostic Lead to allow additional diagnostic options for Italian cars. These can include ENGINE, ABS, POWER STEERING and CAN ECU's (an additional KKL VAG COM may be required to connect to specific ECUs, [depending on car model]).

Green Adapter Lead (Adapter 1) = Engine, ABS, Power Steering, (usually)
Red Adapter Lead (Adapter 2) = Airbag, (usually)
Yellow Adapter Lead (Adapter 3) = CAN, (usually)
Purple Adapter Lead (Adapter 4) =Hood & newer models, (usually)

Green Adapter Lead = Female pin 7 to male pins 1,7,9,12.
Red Adapter Lead = Female pin 7 to male pin 3
Yellow Adapter Lead = Female pin 6 to male pin 1 / Female pin 14 to male pin 9 / Female pin 7 to male pin 12
Purple Adapter Lead = Female pin 7 to male pins 7,8,11,13
Blue Adapter Lead = Female pin 6 to male pin 3 / Female pin 14 to male pin 11
Grey Adapter Lead = Female pin 6 to male pin 12 / Female pin 14 to male pin 13
Modified ELM:

"Please note that almost all ELM interfaces produced in the last few months have problems accesing the CAN network.The problem can be easily fixed by simply removing one resistor from the interface. The procedure is covered in the following topic on the forum: FAULTY ELM INTERFACES DE-MYSTIFIED.
It was also reported that the new OBDLink interfaces have the same problem."
