1 ROLL- GREEN (5.5mm Wide X 36 yards) 3M Fine Line Masking Tape

For Early Yamaha Enduros 1968-1971. 

AT1 125cc,  CT1 175cc,  DT1 250cc,  HT1 90cc,  RT1 360cc,  JT1 60cc 

This is genuine 3M fine line plastic tape is specially cut to 5.5mm wide for masking the FUEL AND OIL TANK STRIPES on early Yamaha Enduros.  We have found this product to be the most reliable type of fine line tape. 

I measured stripes on many original fuel and oil tanks to determine that the most common width is 5.5mm.  

We have found that the secrets to using this tape successfully are:
1.  Try not to stretch it too much around corners to prevent lifting
2.  Pull the tape off while the upper color coat is still wet.  This will insure a sharp, smooth edge.  However, we have found that when using waterborne base coat, we get better results by pulling the tape after the clear has dried to avoid getting a rough fractured looking edge.   

We made green this time so it would contrast better when masking up the most common tank stripe colors.
