- The man is wearing a blue shirt with a brown collar and placket, this has two white buttons on it and a white tied bow on the collar
- The right arm moves up and down from the shoulder joint which contacts the mouth when the arm is raised up
- The coin is to be placed in the man's hand and then when the arm is raised to the mouth, the tongue moves down and the coin is inserted into the bank
- As the arm is raised and the tongue moves down, the eyes also roll up into the back of the man's head as well
- There is a small lever on the back of the man's left side to operate the moving arm
- On the bottom of the bank reads "J.E STEVENS PAT.455 1896"
- On the back of the man's shirt reads "JOLLY BOY BANK" on a brown background
- The money can be accessed by removing the bottom of the bank by one screw
- PLEASE NOTE that this bank may show signs of slight chips and wear to give the antique finished appearance
