Let me start by saying i'm not a musician and I din't play the sax. I purchased this instrument 7 years ago from a collector as an investment. The sax is in the exact condition as I purchased it.

The following is the ad from the seller at the time.
Here's one Mark VI Alto you won't want to pass up. The serial number is 62621, with matching neck in perfect condition, 1955 circa. The Selmer players who know and study the serial number range of the Marks, know for certain, this serial numbered horn is very desirable. Except for some extremely insignificant freckling under the thumb hook and strap hook, and a couple of light scratches below the bow ring, one on the bell and one minuscule mark probably from a sax stand near the bow, this MK. VI is truly one gorgeous instrument.

It retains 99% of the original beautiful dark factory lacquer and French engraving. At the time of the ad, a top sax technician repad it using Lucien pads with sterling metal resonators. Absolutely beautiful both in playing and appearance.

It comes with the original beautiful zippered tri-pak case . The zipper works flawlessly, no repairs! Also comes with the original Selmer Soloist C* mouthpiece, original ligature, Selmer cap, Selmer neck strap and original wood neck plug.
