EVA Airways Corporation is an airline based at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport near Taipei, Taiwan operating passenger and dedicated cargo services to over 40 international destinations in Asia, Australia, Europe and North America. The McDonnell Douglas MD-11 is a three-engine medium to long-range wide-body airliner, with two engines mounted on under-wing pylons and a third engine at the base of the vertical stabilizer.
