Black Cowl - 100mm diameter spigot
The cowled outlet is designed to help shield the duct from the wind and deflect the air away. As the appliance operates, the flap lifts to allow exhaust air to disperse to atmosphere. The non return flap acts as an additional measure to prevent airflow returning through the duct, however, as it is free moving, so as not to apply any resistance to the extracting applicance, it should be noted that it is does not offer 100% protection and does not provide a airtight seal.
