The Retro Freak is an incredible Retro Gaming Console that enables you to play the original games from PC Engine, TurboGrafx-16, Super Grafx, NES, Famicom, SNES, Super Famicom, SEGA Genesis, SEGA Mega Drive, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance!
The console also allows you to rip and install games on to the console with the use of an SD card! The device comes with an HDMI output and supports HD up-scaling, instant saving and cheat codes which can be found online.
The Retro Freak retro games Console comes in two main parts. The largest of the two is the cartridge adapter, whilst the smallest part hides underneath emulating all your favourite old school games.
Both versions (Standard and Premium) also ship with a NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) controller, but it will also work with modern gamepads such as the DualShock 3 and DualShock 4. The premium version also ships with the controller adapter that supports TurboGrafx, Famicom, Super Famicom, and SEGA Genesis Controllers.

Install/Rip Your Cartridges onto The System
Typically a retro game system could only run a game cartridge when the cartridge is still inserted into the system. The Retro Freak allows you to rip your favourite ROMs from your cartridges onto the system memory or SD card and play them without the need for the original cartridge in future. It also allows you to insert an SD card with backups of your favourite ROMs and to play these using the in-built emulators.

HD-Upscaling Of Your Retro Games
Get clear, super crisp definition images even on your big screen TV with HDMi! Usually when you connect your old retro games system to a modern TV your graphics would be obscured or even worse (depending on the system) you may be completely unable to connect to a TV at all. By using the latest up-scaling technology and hardware performance the Retro Freak combines HDMi output with super clear graphics, even using your old cartridges. Your favourite games will have never looked so good!
On top of improving the visual output, the software also outputs improved audio and sound than you would normally get with a convential analog connection.
User Friendly Interface
A super user friendly interface makes it easy for you to navigate your favourite games, load/save and apply graphic settings.
Ability To Save Data Even If Your Cartridge Has Exhausted SRAM Battery
A brand new feature, unavailable on any other system - you can now save game data on the console even if a game cartridge has exhausted its back-up battery! Just save it as usual and your data will be saved on the system itself. In addition, the data saved on your system will not expire because of exhausted batteries; you can backup the saved data onto microSD and your computer (via microSD). Also, if a game cartridge still has old saved data, the Retro Freak can import them, or export one made on Retro Freak to a cartridge!
Save States
Save your game at any point by using the "save state" function, then instantly load from there! Retro gaming is well known for having some classic 'super difficult' titles with unforgiving levels that banish you back to the beginning of the stage after just one mistake... well now that's over! You can save upto 100 save points for every game!
Use Your Own Controllers
Retro Freak’s USB ports allow you to plug-in commercially available USB controllers of your choice such as PS3 or PS4 controllers!
With the included controller adapter you can use your original retro controllers including:

Customisable Button Mapping
Use your favourite game controller and map the buttons to your preference. Remap the buttons for each controller and add turbo buttons and more! This function allows you to use your favourite controllers in the way you want - with up to 5 players per game!
