Raspberry Pi B+, Pi 2B and Pi 3B Power Over Ethernet (PoE) Adapter

The Xtronix ‘Power Over Ethernet’ (PoE) adapter is designed to be plugged directly on to a Raspberry Pi printed circuit board and to supply +5 Volts at up to 1.25 Amps to the Raspberry Pi B+, Pi 2B and Pi 3B PCB. The adapter conforms to the IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet standard and is intended to be powered by an IEEE 802.3af compatible Switch or Injector where power is supplied over the Ethernet Cable. This allows a Raspberry Pi printed circuit board to be powered via the Ethernet cable at up to 90 metres from a compatible PoE injector.

A 2 pin connector on the adapter PCB allows the user to a cable to supply +5 Volts to external equipment and a 40 Way connector allows the user to connect to the Raspberry Pi GPIO connector.  Plastic pillars and screws allow the PCB to be fixed to the Pi B+ and Pi 2 PCB fixing holes.

Note this adapter only fits the Raspberry Pi B+, 2B and 3B models. -
