Ensoniq DP/4 OS 1.15 EPROM Firmware Upgrade SET

• This upgrade version v1.15 is final known operating system firmware issued by Ensoniq for the DP/4.
• Included will be 2 EPROM chips to complete the operating system upgrade.
• All EPROM upgrade chips supplied here are brand new, recently manufactured to ensure data integrity well past our natural lifetime.

Please keep in mind that the DP/4 itself is not for sale, only the EPROM upgrade chips will be supplied.

• This upgrade is said to serve as a supplemental release, intended to iron out any remaining kinks affecting general stability, bugs and improve performance within the firmware code.
• Before purchasing, check which firmware your DP/4 is running: Press System MIDI repeatedly until the LED display shows 63. From there the display should read “ENSONIQ * DP/4 OS Revision X.XX”
• Have a look at the second photo in this eBay listing for a thorough list of changes and improvements contained within the 1.15 firmware upgrade set.

Unlike some others, No used or refurbished as “new” components will be supplied here. Protect your investment!

Be sure to take note of the marked orientation notch on the side of the EPROM to ensure correct installation. EPROMS inserted backwards will be destroyed. Incorrect insertion of ICs is also likely to cause damage to the board.

All EPROM upgrades have been prepared in an ESD-safe production environment and will be packaged in equally ESD-safe materials.
