The film scanner is in mint condition (no scratches, dents, dust, dirt). Used only in a home environment with about 40 rolls of film. It was covered when not in use to avoid dust.
Has been tested by scanning 2 rolls of negative film (4000 dpi) with no issues.
Never gone for any kind of service.
2-3 times during use I have noticed some digital artefacts with freezes in preview and scan (VueScan). I don't know if this is something that had to do with driver or cable issue.
The buyer must understand that: This is a 15 year old device with low usage. It's likely to need some clean or fix in the near future but the seller is not responsible for this. Its preferred for the buyer to be familiar with this kind of scanners and to have a Nikon service agent, capable of dealing with film scanners in its area.
