"Near Eastern Art in Chicago Collections" is a 48 page, 8.5"x10" softcover catalog published by The Art Institute of Chicago in conjunction with a 11/17/1973-1/20/1974 exhibition. The bulk of the book is devoted to Persian textiles (rugs, blankets, bags, carpets, etc.), but there are a few pages on metalwork, ceramics, and painting and illumination. There are black-and-white photos throughout, and four pages of text.

The book is in very good condition, with minimal cover wear, an ownership stamp to the title page, sound stapled binding.
