We make our sandals from top grain cowhide leather from the island of Crete for
the inner soles and high quality full grain leather from Crete and Italy for
all the straps.
The outer soles are made from EVA which is one of the best shock absorption
materials available today. This is why all the major top-line brand joggers use
this material, due to the great combination of shock absorption with the light
weight of the sole. EVA outsole is the lightest among all kinds of outsoles.
Eva sole features:
• Water resistance: closed cell structure, non-absorbent
• Corrosion resistance: resistant to sea water, oils and fats, acid,
anti-bacterial,
non-toxic, non-polluting
• Anti-vibration: resilient, tensile strength, high toughness, good shock
cushioning
• Insulation: thermal insulation and cold temperature performance, may be
resistant
to cold and exposure
• Sound insulation: Closed foam sound insulation
