This auction is for the complete speaker system.
The Monsoon Modified MR / HF Speaker columns with 6 Monsoon midrange ribbons and 4 Standard Infinity EMIT [ Electro Magnetic Indiction Tweeters ] per side.
Standard Infinity RS-1b woofer columns with 6 Die Cast Aluminum 8 inch woofers per side.
An Infinity RS-1b active Servo Crossover is also included.
Please read on:
2 ( Two ) Completely redesigned Midrange / High Frequency Columns each with 6 Monsoon Midrange Ribbon Drivers and Four Original Infinity (EMIT) Tweeters per side, new Brass Connectors, and a completely new Monster Cable Wiring Harness.
Crossover frequency between the Woofer Columns and the MR / HF towers is set to 150 Hz.
Crossover frequency betweem the Midrange Ribbons and the Infinity EMIT Tweeters uses a
Passive crossover and is set to 12 dB / Octave at the frequency of 8000Hz.
System is set up for Bi-Wiring if desired and also the system can be Tri-Amped if desired.
This system uses 6 Monsoon midrange ribbon drivers on each side and four original INFINITY EMIT tweeters on each side, wired in a series / parallel combination to share the load, to reduce distortion, and to increase volume and power handling capacity.
Speaker IMPEDANCE is 3.2 Ohms ( 4 Ohms Nominal Impedance ).
The speakers do INCLUDE GRILLS.
A new passive crossover between the midranges and tweeters is also included and designed into the system. There are new speaker binding posts for the midrange / high frequency columns as well.
THESE SOUND LIKE INFINITY IRS SERIES V's for a lot less money and take up a lot less space. I have IRS V's for comparison and these sound just like them. Just because they are smaller and cost less, does not mean they do not sound as good.

If you read all my other postings and ads, you kinda know everything already.
I am not in the business of making money on shipping, I just want to cover my time and shipping costs. If you are in the USA cardboard boxes should do, if you are overseas I suggest wood crates, but I will leave that decision up to you. Of course you can pick up for free, or arrange you own packing and or shipping. Again, I will refund any excess shipping charges, which I think is only fair. Sometimes I even higher a neighbor of mine to deliver like a moving company, directly from my house to yours, wrapped in shipping blankets. Of course it depends upon where you live and how far he is willing to drive. It is often cheaper to hire him than to box and ship, and he is an expert at making sure items arrive in the same condition they leave my house.
Local pickup is welcome.
If you need shipping there will need to be at least 3 heavy boxes or crates if you choose to have these boxed or crated and shipped.
Handling cost is subject to if you pick up, have me pack in cardboard, or if I need to make wood crates.
Again, I will refund any excess charges.
