This Pro-Modified 34 cc engine will give your Losi 5ive, Losi Desert Buggy XL (DBXL) or Redcat a ‘Direct Cutting Edge to the front of the pack’ with excellent throttle response, broad power curve and a very responsive idle with the ‘OMG’ performance increase.

 Each engine is blueprinted with the cylinders CNC’d and have the Toroidal combustion chamber machined into the cylinder…(See Pictures) this design eliminates detonation issues and enables a powerful compression ration of 18:1 and still use regular 87 octane pump gas.

Note: The mph will depend on your gearing and tire size / tire growth. One will need to gear up (taller) due to the power and torque increase....if you do not gear up or use taller tires when the engine gets on the pipe it will either instantly flip the car / truck or drift sideways with wheel spin. 

These engines are moving Pro Mod Cars and Outlaw Cars in the very low 2.17 second range @ 65+ mph for 150' drags and high 3.97 second range for 300' runs at speeds over 80+ mph.

 Dynoed over 14.5 HP with a max loaded rpm of 19,977 rpms.

 We true the crankshaft to be less than .00025” of total run-out (Zenoah Spec is .002”) .

The carburetor is modified for more flow and throttle response

Exhaust timing is modified to give the most power output and still retain liability of the piston and cylinder.

Slight modifications might be required for mounting…re: bolt holes in the chassis, etc.

A different Clutch Housing, Clutch Plate and Clutch bolt is included, so you can use your existing clutch bell, clutch shoes and gear-sets.

Recommended Pipe for optimum performance: Samba or Bartolone

 Due to the workload and the intensive blueprinting work that is done on this engine there is a 15 business day lead time from when you complete your purchase until the engine is shipped out to you.
