These are high quality replacement anti-skate strings for tone arms that feature the counter weight system of anti-skate. Sometimes these strings break, either in storage, transport, or everyday use, and this is rather annoying, so I decided to figure out how to best make these and offer them to my fellow audio enthusiasts. Simply cut one of these to the precise length you need which makes them a universal replacement. This comes with everything you need to do a clean professional replacement job of your broken anti-skate string. The kit comes with 1 long length, at least 140mm, of string with a loop already crimped on one end, saving you time as this is trickier part to crimp, and 3 micro crimp tubes. You just need one to crimp on the end, but they are small so just in case one gets away from you there's 2 extras. Needle nose pliers work great for crimping the bead on the end. We also package carefully designed instructions to help you get the right measurement if you are unsure on where to cut the string. These are handmade and packaged in America by skilled turntable repair persons. We will ship worldwide.

Examples of tonearms that feature this type of string weight are:
Lenco L75 and L78 stock tonearms
Thorens TP-11 tonearm featured on many models including TD-165
SME 3009 Tonearm
Kenwood models
Many others that will be added as they are confirmed.

The simplified steps for using this kit are as follow:
-Remove the string and tubes from packaging (obviously, I do not mean to insult I just need a place to start)
-Slide the pre-crimped loop over one of the anti-skate pegs, and make your measurement over the other, this is explained more in depth in the provided instructions.
-Take the anti-skate weight from the broken string and slide it on the new one, The crimped loop at one end will prevent it from falling off of the other side.
-Cut it to the desired length, crimp the end tube on, and install it where it needs to go
