SUNSET RIDERS MINI ARCADE MODEL
This is a 1/12th scale (about 6 inch tall)
model of the classic Sunset Riders upright arcade game that was released by Konami
in 1991. I have taken the arcade cabinet schematics and shrank them down to
6". If you love playing the
original Sunset Riders, this would be perfect to put on display. The control panel is what makes it really
stand out with the 4-player color coded setup!
Features of this model
The cabinet is a fully enclosed box hand made out of laser cut Bass wood.
Replica joystick and buttons.
The screen is recessed with simulated glass beneath the bezel.
The graphics are computer cut to make them as exact as possible.
The two speaker grills are cut into the wood above the screen.
I made the coin doors on a wood cutout to give them some depth.
The model has a bottom with simulated legs.
I signed the bottom of the cabinet.
This model is a non-working arcade cabinet and is for display only.
I still get a few emails every month with questions about
how to play them which is a tribute to how real they look!
