The
type of screen you choose for your home theater can have a dramatic effect on the quality and clarity of your image. Projection
screens can vary by as much as 50% in contrast levels and overall
clarity, even for high quality screens that supposedly have the same
specs!
Also, just because someone claims to be selling an "authentic" or
"true" projection screen material, doesn't mean that they actually are
selling a true projection screen material. There are a lot of scammers
and fake claims going around on eBay, and you
can never be too sure of what you are really getting. I have seen other

projection screen material, when it simply just isn't true!! Most
of these materials can be found at your local fabric store! I

Features: This material has a special "micro textured" matte white reflective surface that is designed to increase contrast, while reducing glare by blocking out ambient light. It has a gain of 1.0 (the #1 choice for home theater use) and has a 160 degree viewing angle so that it can be seen clearly throughout the entire room, no matter where you are seated. Everyone will have the best seat with this material! It has a gain rating of 1.0 and produces absolutely no glare or hot spots, and no color shifting! It also produces excellent skin tones which is very important in a home theater environment! Fiberglass matte white 1.0 gain is the industry standard for home theater use!
Easy Maintenance: The viewing surface is laminated to the fiberglass core, and it is almost completely stain resistant. Dust, fingerprints, smudges, even accidental spills all wipe off with a damp sponge and some mild detergent. Not even lipstick or crayons (I've tested it) will stick to this material! It is also mildew and flame resistant, and is made to last a lifetime. Compare that with a cloth based screen!
