This is an awesome looking and playing guitar! I upgraded the pickups to Seymour Duncan Nazgul in the bridge and Sentient in the neck. They are made to handle drop tunings and heavy distortion but they clean up crystal clear as well. Also there are Schaller straplocks installed. The guitar is setup and plays fantastic. Jim Root deliberately designed this guitar with a satin finish to show that it gets played and worn in. There are a few small knicks on the guitar here and there from being played but again he designed this guitar to show the wear. This guitar will also ship with a hard case.
